Cintas tops $3 billion in quarterly revenue and raises annual guidance
Cintas started fiscal 2027 strongly, reporting first-quarter revenue above $3 billion for the first time, driven by 10.9% growth in workwear, first aid and fire protection. Cintas reported fiscal Q1 revenue of $3.01 billion, up 10.9% year over year, with organic growth of 8.9% and adjusted diluted EPS of $1.39 (up 15.8%). Gross margin reached a record 51.5% and adjusted operating margin expanded 90 basis points to 23.6%. Management raised fiscal 2027 guidance to $12.15–12.27 billion in revenue and $5.45–5.54 in adjusted EPS, while the proposed UniFirst acquisition remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by end of 2026.
