Abacus Group after realignment with stable results and lowered distribution for 2027
Abacus Group reports FFO of 81.2 million AUD for fiscal 2026 (-1.9%), which management mainly attributes to the internalisation of Storage King’s management function and related accounting adjustments. The company has transformed into a focused commercial REIT, showing high occupancy rates (office 91.2%, retail 97.4%) and positive leasing spreads, and identifies annual cost savings of 8.4 million AUD. The distribution for 2027 has been cut to 0.067 AUD per share to allow a more sustainable payout ratio of 80–90% of FFO and to strengthen the balance sheet. The stock trades below book value; management plans to sell non-core assets to reduce debt and expects moderate improvements in the office market. » More on de.investing.com
