ACS plans reorganisation to cut administrative costs by 30%

According to a Spanish newspaper, the Spanish construction group ACS has hired an international consulting firm to draw up a comprehensive reorganisation aimed at reducing the costs of the corporate headquarters by up to 30%. Management views a leaner structure as a response to rising international uncertainty; analysts had already applied holding-company discounts to ACS and subsidiary Hochtief.
