His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs filed an insolvency petition against ADM Energy at the High Court on 10 July; a hearing is scheduled for 22 July. ADM Energy disputes the amount claimed and notes that HMRC described the outstanding sum as less than 50% of the claim asserted in the petition. The company has appointed Gunnercooke LLP as legal counsel, agreed a short-term financing arrangement with TN Black Gold and is seeking additional funds.
