  • Aegon reports strong operating result, shares fall in pre-market

    Aegon posted an operating result of €1.7bn (+15%) in the second half of 2025 and a free cash flow of €829m. The company proposed a final dividend of €0.21 and carried out €400m of share buybacks. Despite the figures, the stock fell 4.49% in pre-market trading to $7.45.   • Aegon Ltd. to re-domicile to US, rename holding Transamerica and adopt US GAAP

    Aegon Ltd. announced at its Capital Markets Day plans to move its legal seat and head office to the United States, with re-domiciliation to be completed by January 1, 2028 and the holding company renamed Transamerica. The company said business units will keep their current brands, it will begin reporting under US GAAP for full-year 2027, and will suspend trading updates in 2026 and 2027 while limiting disclosures to comprehensive half-year reports. Management expects the common stock to remain listed on NYSE and Euronext.
