Alcoa Corp sees analyst support after South32 asset acquisition despite share selloff

Riley reiterated a Buy rating and $92 price target for Alcoa Corp following the company's acquisition of South32 bauxite, alumina and aluminum assets, saying the initial share-price drop overstates risks and that synergies and greater scale should strengthen competitiveness. The firm cited multiple cash-flow sources—asset sales, potential higher metal prices and a Ma'aden stake sale—that could offset incremental leverage.
