Amotiv stock falls after disappointing outlook

Amotiv shares plunged 15.4% to AUD 6.27 on Tuesday after the company reported an adjusted EBITA of AUD 195.1 million for fiscal year 2026 and revenue growth of 2.7% to just over AUD 1 billion. Investors were mainly disappointed by the 2027 outlook, which forecasts only moderate growth in revenue and adjusted EBITA. Gross margins fell by around one percentage point to 42.8%, reflecting ongoing cost pressure across the business units, and analyst sentiment had already been subdued ahead of the results.
