AO World launches £20m shareholder return programme with buyback and special dividend

AO World has announced a £20 million shareholder return programme, consisting of a share buyback of up to £10 million and a special dividend of 1.75p per ordinary share (around £10 million). Repurchased shares will be cancelled; purchases will be made via the London Stock Exchange and other trading venues no later than 31 March 2027. Jefferies and Peel Hunt have been appointed with £5 million each, and Jefferies will execute the first tranche.
