The Artisanal Spirits Company reports that US shipments worth $3.2m will be delayed until 2026 because the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has massively backlogged label approvals following the government shutdown. The company therefore expects a non-cash hit in fiscal 2025 of around £2.5m to revenue and £2m to EBITDA; additional one-off impacts from switching the US distribution strategy amount to roughly $2–2.5m of revenue and £1–1.5m of EBITDA. In total, the non-cash impacts in 2025 are expected to be about £4–4.5m to revenue and £3–3.5m to EBITDA.
