Asiamet Resources publishes audited 2025 annual results and reports progress on BKM copper project
Asiamet Resources released audited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025 and reported progress on phase 1 of the BKM copper project. An optimized feasibility study forecasts about 10,000 tonnes of copper cathode per year over 13 years, life‑of‑mine revenues of USD 1.192 billion and EBITDA of USD 612.2 million with initial capital costs of USD 178.4 million. The study shows an after‑tax NPV of USD 122.4 million, an after‑tax IRR of 17.7% and a payback period of 4.5 years; the phase‑1 reserves total 28.3 million tonnes at 0.7% Cu (207,000 t contained copper). Asiamet sells KSK project stake to Norin Mining for $105 million
Asiamet has agreed to sell its interest in the KSK project to Norin Mining (Hong Kong) for $105 million in cash. The transaction is considered a fundamental change of business and requires shareholder approval at a general meeting on 29 January 2026; shareholders representing 53.3% of the capital have already committed their votes. Completion is subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions; Asiamet intends to distribute a substantial portion of the net proceeds to shareholders after closing.
