ASX increases operating revenue and adjusted profit in 2026, shares rise almost 12%
ASX reported operating revenue of 1.25 billion AUD for fiscal 2026 (+13.3%) and an adjusted NPAT increase of 5.2%, while reported NPAT fell 3.5% due to one-off items. The final dividend was raised to 1.047 AUD, bringing the full-year dividend to 2.065 AUD. Management expects high cost growth of 18–21% in 2027 and plans CapEx of 180–200 million AUD to modernize technology and carry out remediation measures. ASX raises spending and capex forecasts – shares fall over 10%
Exchange operator ASX signals an acceleration in technology modernisation and regulatory work and raises its FY27 capex guidance to A$180–200m (previously A$160–180m) and FY27 spend growth to 18–21%. For FY28 ASX expects capex of A$170–190m and lowers its medium‑term return on equity target range to 12–14%. ASX lifts quarterly reporting requirement for DroneShield after sustained positive operating cash flow
The ASX has exempted DroneShield from the obligation to file quarterly activity reports and Appendix 4C cash flow reports after the company recorded positive operating cash flow for four consecutive quarters. Going forward, only the regular disclosure requirements for half-year and annual financial statements and the obligation to promptly report price-sensitive events will apply.
