Avacta announced that CEO Christina Coughlin was included on the "Rising Leaders 2026" list by the trade publication In Vivo. Coughlin, MD PhD, has led the company for two years and previously worked as an oncologist. The proceeds are intended to serve as working capital to fund research and development programmes into early Q1 2027 and to extend the runway through the first readout of the Phase‑1a study of AVA6103 (first readout end‑2026).
