Avingtrans secures £21m through placing new shares

Avingtrans raised around £21m by placing 3,309,000 new ordinary shares at 630 pence each; the issue was oversubscribed and attracted both existing and new institutional investors. Roger McDowell subscribed for shares worth about £800,000.
