Beach Energy delivers robust 2026 results despite production decline, shares fall
Beach Energy reported FY2026 revenue of AUD 1.8bn (-10%), adjusted EBITDA of AUD 1bn and adjusted net profit after tax of AUD 355m. Production fell to 19.4m BOE (-2%) due to flooding and operational disruptions, while higher gas prices, cost savings and six LNG shipments from Waitsia supported operating cash flow of AUD 890m. Adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 57% and net gearing was 10.6%, below the 15% target, but the share price dropped 2.53% to $0.868. For 2027 Beach expects production of 19.5–23m BOE and plans capex of AUD 600–700m; risks remain from operational disruptions, ramp-up issues at Waitsia and political uncertainty over gas reservation. » More on de.investing.com
Beach Energy confirms guidance — higher gas prices offset production decline
Beach Energy reported revenue of US$1bn in H1 2026 with production down 7% to 9.5 MMboe; a 13% higher realised gas price (US$11.8/GJ) and larger LNG deliveries offset the decline. Adjusted EBITDA was US$558m (-5%) and adjusted NPAT US$219m (-8%), while operating cash flow and free cash flow fell sharply. The company announced an increased interim dividend of 1.0 cent per share, holds US$925m liquidity and refinanced maturities; the production guidance of 19.7–22.0 MMboe and capex guidance of US$675–775m remain unchanged.
