Boku cuts full-year guidance and shares plunge more than 30%
Boku shares fell about 32.6% to roughly 94 pence after the company published an unaudited trading update and sharply lowered its full-year guidance. For 2026 Boku now expects revenue of $135–142m and adjusted EBITDA of $38–42m, well below consensus estimates of $155m revenue and $49.9m EBITDA. The revision is attributed to operational issues, including volume loss from a major merchant's dual-sourcing decision and the suspension of two direct-carrier-billing connections by authorities. Boku also repurchased 9.6m shares for $23.5m and plans to extend the buyback programme, but could not stem the investor reaction; the stock hit a 52-week low of around 93 pence. » More on de.investing.com
