Brenntag raises forecast, stock remains in downtrend
Brenntag reported a surprisingly strong operating result for the second quarter (Ebitda €450m vs. consensus €367m) and raised the full-year Ebitda range to €1,250–1,400m. The share nevertheless fell to a low since March and remains in a downtrend due to chart-technical resistances. Analysts see the revenue boost largely as temporary from higher orders following the Middle East crisis and stress ongoing restructurings; DZ Bank keeps the rating 'sell'. » More on finanzen.net
Brenntag raises 2026 outlook after strong second quarter
Brenntag expects operating EBITDA for the second quarter of around €450 million, beating market expectations. The company cites robust demand and improved margins, partly due to market disruptions in the Middle East, as drivers. For 2026 the EBITDA range has been raised to €1.25–1.40 billion (previously €1.15–1.35 billion). At the same time, Brenntag remains cautious about the second half because of ongoing uncertainties; the half‑year figures will be released on 12 August 2026. » More on finanzen.net
