Bridgepoint issues 10,132,073 new ordinary shares to satisfy claims from ECP takeover
Bridgepoint has announced the issuance of 10,132,073 ordinary shares to satisfy allocation claims related to the takeover of Energy Capital Partners. The new shares will be issued to eligible employees, rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market is expected. Bridgepoint: strong half-year results push stock higher
Bridgepoint reported significantly better-than-expected numbers for the first half. Adjusted EBITDA rose 77.6% to £227.3 million, the EBITDA margin reached 61% and exceeded forecasts. Fee-paying AUM grew 32.7% to $58.4 billion, group AUM to $97.3 billion (pro forma $120 billion including the planned Kayne Anderson Real Estate acquisition). Bridgepoint acquires majority stake in GBA
Private equity firm Bridgepoint is taking majority ownership of diagnostic chain GBA; Ardian is selling the bulk of its stake. GBA is valued at a billion-euro sum in the transaction, management remains invested and financial details were not disclosed. Bridgepoint plans to push international expansion, digitize processes and grow through add‑on acquisitions; according to market sources, GBA is expected to generate around €330m in revenue and about €90m in EBITDA in 2026. » More on faz.net
