Canada Carbon resumes trading and plans 10-to-1 share consolidation

Canada Carbon announced the imminent resumption of trading on the TSX Venture Exchange and approved a share consolidation of up to 10-to-1, which would reduce the number of outstanding common shares from 242,281,512 to about 24,228,151. Shareholders also approved a stock incentive plan with options for up to 10% of the outstanding shares and a cap of 24,228,151 shares for RSUs/DSUs/PSUs. CEO Ellerton Castor and CFO Remantra Sheopaul resigned; Arran Thorpe was appointed interim CEO and CFO, and the TSXV gave the company 90 days to remove the dual appointment. As of September 30, 2025, Canada Carbon reported a working capital deficit of approximately USD 2.54 million and a deficit in tangible net assets of about USD 2.56 million; the company plans cost reductions, deferments and financings and was warned of a possible downgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 within 90 days. » More on de.investing.com
