Capital Bancorp extends CEO Steven Poynot's contract through at least 2028

Capital Bancorp entered into a new employment agreement with Steven M. Poynot effective January 1, 2026, with an initial term through December 31, 2028, and automatic one-year renewals unless terminated six months in advance. Poynot will receive a base salary of $455,000, annual variable compensation of up to 100% of base salary (60% cash, 40% in RSUs with a three-year vesting period), and an additional annual equity award of up to 30% of base salary.
