Cash Converters posts record revenue in 2026, profit hit by strategic restructuring

Cash Converters reports record revenue of AUD 429m (+11%) and operating EBITDA of AUD 67m (+11%) for FY2026, while operating NPAT fell to AUD 23.2m (prior year AUD 25.1m). Management attributes the profit decline to the faster run‑off of the old short‑term lending business as it shifts toward personal loans and retail. The new loan product “Cashies Loan” nearly quintupled in 12 months to over AUD 114m, store revenues rose significantly and a dividend of AUD 0.02 was paid.
