Character Group expects profit to double despite stagnant revenues
Character Group says in a trading update that revenues in the four months before Christmas 2025 were about 11% below the previous year and that the first half will be weaker. For the 2026 financial year the company expects broadly flat revenues versus 2025 but forecasts more than a doubling of profit before tax and special items thanks to an improved product mix and portfolio expansions. The group highlights a strong balance sheet with a net cash position and undrawn credit lines, has completed its share buyback programme, and expects to publish the half-year report in May 2026. » More on de.investing.com
