ChargePoint has installed a ceiling fast-charging system in the Quick Turnaround Facility at Portland International Airport. The system consists of ten overhead-mounted fast chargers with dual connectors and can charge up to 20 vehicles simultaneously. The ceiling concept reduces ground usage, protects infrastructure from vehicle damage and lowers installation costs through fewer conduits and less cabling. The installation is integrated with ChargePoint’s fleet management software, enabling remote monitoring, troubleshooting and charge management.
