ChargePoint installs overhead fast-charging system for rental fleets at Portland airport
ChargePoint has installed a ceiling fast-charging system in the Quick Turnaround Facility at Portland International Airport. The system consists of ten overhead-mounted fast chargers with dual connectors and can charge up to 20 vehicles simultaneously. The ceiling concept reduces ground usage, protects infrastructure from vehicle damage and lowers installation costs through fewer conduits and less cabling. The installation is integrated with ChargePoint’s fleet management software, enabling remote monitoring, troubleshooting and charge management. The installation serves as an example of ChargePoint’s approach to addressing infrastructure challenges in electrifying rental car fleets at airports. » More on de.investing.com
