    Cineverse has reached an agreement with VIZ Media to expand the anime offering on its RetroCrush service. Newly available will be films and series from franchises like BLEACH, Hunter x Hunter, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and NARUTO, as well as titles such as Captain Tsubasa and Hikaru no Go.   • Cineverse exceeds revenue forecast for Q1 2027, adjusted EBITDA turns positive

    Cineverse reported revenue of $30.6 million for Q1 2027, beating the estimate of $22.4 million; revenue rose 175% year over year and technology revenue accounts for more than 60%. Adjusted EBITDA turned positive at $0.5 million, while GAAP EPS missed expectations significantly with a loss of $0.28 per share versus the expected -$0.08.
