Conagra is introducing the new Marigold brand in Canada with four halal‑certified frozen single‑serve meals (butter chicken, chicken korma, tikka masala, chana masala) and four vegetarian cooking sauces. The recipes were developed in collaboration with chef Meherwan Irani, the products are made in Canada and have already been delivered to selected retailers; nationwide availability and the sauces’ launch are planned by September 2026. Conagra reported net sales of more than $11 billion in fiscal 2026. » More on de.investing.com
Conagra Brands lowers full-year forecast and halves dividend, shares fall sharply
Conagra Brands forecasts adjusted earnings per share of $1.40–$1.50 for fiscal 2027, missing the analyst consensus by a wide margin. The company also expects organic net sales to decline 1–3% and cites higher commodity costs, especially rising beef prices, as a burden. The board cut the quarterly dividend by 50% to $0.175 per share; the announcement came on the first conference call under CEO John Brase. The stock reacted with a sharp premarket drop and is trading near its 52-week low. » More on de.investing.com
Conagra Brands: options signal 5.5% price swing ahead of quarterly results
Options market data suggest Conagra Brands’ stock could move about 5.5% on July 15 before the market opens. In four of the last eight quarterly reports the actual price move exceeded the options-market implied volatility, including a 7.8% decline on July 10, 2025 and a 6.0% rise on October 1, 2025. Investors should consider the historical tendency for larger moves around earnings announcements. » More on de.investing.com
