Cornish Metals issues 4,545 new shares after exercise of options
Cornish Metals has confirmed the exercise of 20,000 share options and, under a net exercise method, issued 4,545 new ordinary shares. The new shares have a nominal value of 0.05 pence and rank pari passu with the existing shares. Admission to trading on AIM has been applied for; trading is expected to commence around 6 May 2026. Cornish Metals receives US funding interest to revive South Crofty tin mine
Cornish Metals said it has received a letter of funding interest from the US export credit agency for a potential $225m investment to reopen the South Crofty tin mine, which closed in 1998. Any financing would be conditional on supplying tin to the US as a critical mineral, supporting domestic supply chains for electronics and AI infrastructure.
