d’Amico: Q1 profit rises 46% thanks to sharply higher tanker rates
d’Amico reports a Q1 2026 net profit of USD 27.5m, an increase of 45.6% year-on-year, driven by historically high product tanker rates due to the Iran conflict and extended sanctions. The average spot TCE rate rose to USD 32,264/day, 81% of ship days for Q2 are already fixed at attractive rates, and the modern fleet and high eco-design share strengthen the competitive position. EBITDA, operating cash flow and fleet market value increased markedly; the balance sheet remains strong with a low net financial position relative to fleet value. Risks persist from higher operating costs, volatile oil demand and the regulatory environment. » More on de.investing.com
