T-Mobile: CEO Gopalan sees threat from Starlink as exaggerated
T-Mobile CEO Srini Gopalan said the danger posed by satellite providers like Starlink to mobile operators is being overstated and questioned what market gap they would fill. He urged mobile carriers to focus on customer needs and what differentiates their services. T-Mobile introduced EIP Flex 36, a no-upfront-payment financing option that lets well-qualified customers pay for devices, sales tax and fees over 36 months with a limited-time 0% APR. The plan applies to phones, watches and tablets and can be combined with device promotions; terms for customers who are not "well-qualified" and the 0% offer end date were not specified.
