DevEx Resources focuses on uranium exploration in the Northern Territory and starts drilling season
DevEx Resources has completed its strategic refocus on uranium and is concentrating on exploration and development in the Northern Territory with three active or soon-to-start drilling targets. The company holds AUD 27 million in cash plus non-core assets that can be reinvested if needed. Government and traditional landowners support the activities, the drilling season is already underway, and the firm aims for a long-term annual production of about 10 million pounds of uranium across two to three projects. In the near term, DevEx expects ongoing drill results, progress on land access and additional targets in the pipeline. » More on de.investing.com
DevEx advances uranium strategy after takeover of Alligator Energy
At the Noosa Mining Conference, DevEx presented a growth plan for uranium focused on exploration, targeted acquisitions and local partnerships. Following a capital raise completed at the end of last year and the takeover of Alligator Energy, the company is expanding its presence in the Northern Territory and has ongoing drilling at Big Radon as well as KP and Caramal in the pipeline. The target is annual production of up to 10 million pounds of uranium from two to three plants; non-core assets are to be sold to finance the uranium activities. DevEx justifies the strategy with expected long-term supply deficits and rising demand from nuclear power and increasing electricity needs, for example from AI applications. » More on de.investing.com
