  • DFDS raises 2026 outlook after strong Q2, shares surge

DFDS reported a solid second quarter with revenue up 10%, EBITDA rising 35% and EBIT of DKK 454 million, more than double the prior year. The company raised its 2026 targets to: revenue growth of 3–5%, EBIT of DKK 1.2–1.4 billion and adjusted free cash flow of around DKK 500 million. DFDS also showed a marked balance sheet improvement, with net debt down by more than DKK 2 billion and a leverage ratio of 3.4x. The announcement of a comprehensive strategic review combined with the stronger results pushed the stock up about 18.6% premarket to $162.10, near a 52‑week high. » More on de.investing.com

  • DFDS cancels planned Jersey to Guernsey inter-island ferry service

DFDS has withdrawn plans for a summer Friday–Monday ferry service between Jersey and Guernsey after Guernsey's Committee for Economic Development rejected the proposal. Affected customers will be contacted and offered refunds. DFDS will instead add additional sailings to St Malo on several July and August dates and an extra sailing for the Le Mans event, and says it remains open to further talks on inter-island connectivity. » More on travel.yahoo.com

  • DFDS cuts full-year outlook after Q3: revenue rises, EBIT falls sharply

DFDS reports Q3 2025 revenue up 4.6% to DKK 8,296m, while EBIT plunged 32% to DKK 536m and the EBIT margin fell to 6.5%. Organic growth was negative; consolidation contributions, notably Ekol, boosted revenue, while the sale of the Oslo–Copenhagen route weighed on it. Operating cash flow and adjusted free cash flow weakened, and the leverage ratio (NIBD/EBITDA) rose to 4.3x. Due to ongoing challenges in the Mediterranean and Türkiye & Europe South, DFDS lowers its full-year EBIT guidance to DKK 600–750m and launches a cost-reduction program targeting DKK 300m annually by 2026. » More on de.investing.com
