Endeavour Group: profit decline in 2026 weighs on stock despite revenue growth
Endeavour Group reported group revenue of AUD 11.2bn for FY2026, while adjusted group EBIT fell 8.7% and retail EBIT fell 17.6%. The company cited pricing investments, promotions, higher wage costs and restructuring expenses as reasons; the stock fell sharply intraday. For 2027 Endeavour expects an investment‑intensive year with CapEx of AUD 550–650m, higher OpEx and financing costs and temporarily higher leverage. Management reaffirmed cost‑saving targets of AUD 300m by 2029 and a dividend payout range of 50–75% of adjusted net profit. » More on de.investing.com
Endeavour Group: hotel growth offsets margin pressure in retail in H1 FY26
Endeavour Group reported adjusted EBIT of $563m (−5.4%) for H1 FY26 on revenue growth of 0.9% to $6.7bn; adjusted net profit fell to $278m (−6.7%). The retail segment experienced margin pressure despite revenue momentum (revenue $5.5bn, adjusted EBIT −11.6%), weighed in part by $20m of costs from the “One Endeavour” program and price‑leadership investments. The hotels business grew revenue by around 4.4% and increased adjusted EBIT by 5.0% to $275m, driven by high‑ROI refurbishments. The company maintains higher investment guidance (capex $460–500m), paid a fully tax‑free interim dividend of 10.8 cents and has announced a capital markets day on 27 May 2026. » More on de.investing.com
