Evolution Mining emphasizes high margins, record cash flow and expansion of copper production
At the Diggers & Dealers forum, Evolution Mining reported record cash flow of AUD 1.4 billion in fiscal 2026 after reinvestments of AUD 1.1 billion and reiterated a dividend policy of 50% of free cash flow. Management cited sustained high margins (AUD 2,000/oz gold), a threefold production increase over 10 years and a 43% rise in reserves per share. Core projects Ernest Henry, Northparkes and Cowal are expected to deliver returns above 18%; copper transactions (including the takeover of Carnaby Resources and completion of the Mungari expansion) offer additional cash‑flow upside at current prices. The portfolio is positioned for robust returns across different price scenarios and benefits from long‑term trends such as deglobalization and increased central bank gold purchases. » More on de.investing.com
