Faron secures funding through end of 2027 and to start BEXERA study in 2026

Faron raised about €40m through a rights issue and had cash of €32m at the end of June, which management says funds the company until the expected readout of the Phase‑IIb BEXERA data in November 2027. The first patient for the BEXERA study is still expected in 2026; recruitment is forecast to finish around August 2027. Heights Kapital Management has raised its voting-rights stake in Faron Pharmaceuticals to 20.72%, thereby exceeding a reportable threshold. Through CVI Investments the manager holds 9.41% direct voting rights and a further 11.30% via two convertible bonds (maturities 2 August 2027 and 12 February 2028), totaling 47,211,351 voting rights. Faron Pharmaceuticals grants 2.17 million stock options to employees and management

Faron Pharmaceuticals has granted 2,173,000 stock options under the 2026 stock option plan with 100% vesting. The options are exercisable from 1 June 2029 and have an exercise price of €0.50 for most recipients (€0.53 for US citizens).
