Fosun bought US intelligence insurer Wright USA using state-backed loans

New data show Fosun's 2015 purchase of Wright USA, an insurer for FBI and CIA personnel, was financed in part by a $1.2bn loan from four Chinese state banks routed through the Cayman Islands. The deal prompted a CFIUS inquiry and the company was later sold back to American owners.
