  • Frasers Property restructures portfolio under Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi to unlock growth

Frasers Property, led by group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, is reshaping its real estate portfolio through disposals and reorganisations to free capital for higher-return opportunities. Moves include taking Frasers Hospitality Trust private for S$1.4 billion, selling four European industrial assets to Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust for €295 million, and proposing the sale of five hotels worth S$1.1 billion to TCC Group Investments while marketing additional hotels in Australia and Europe. The restructuring has helped lift Frasers Property shares about a third since last year and contributed to a rise in the family’s net worth. » More on forbes.com

  • Frasers Property sells four European logistics assets to FLCT for €294.9 million

Frasers Property is selling four logistics properties in Germany and the Netherlands to its REIT Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust (FLCT) for €294.9 million ($343 million). The assets, with 179,645 sq m of gross leasable area and fully leased to tenants including e‑commerce players, are expected to be earnings accretive and provide rental upside. The deal lifts FLCT’s portfolio occupancy to 96.3% and increases the share of logistics assets to 76.6%, and follows Frasers Property’s strategy of recycling capital by injecting stabilized properties into its REITs. Upon completion, FLCT would own 118 properties across Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore and the UK. » More on forbes.com
