Porto dismantles major ticket‑scalping network and reclaims hundreds of seats
Porto said it has broken up one of the largest ticket‑scalping operations uncovered in football, recovering hundreds of seats at Estádio do Dragão that were being resold illegally for up to €800. Investigators allege ringleaders registered season tickets in dozens of people's names and used businesses and messaging apps to process large numbers of transactions, earning tens of thousands of euros per match. Police have added the operation to a wider probe of ultras' ticketing schemes and Porto is pursuing disciplinary and legal action while warning fans against unofficial resale channels. » More on theguardian.com
