Gabelli Multimedia Trust activates succession plan after medical incident involving Mario J. Gabelli

Mario J. Gabelli has remained under hospital observation since a medical incident on March 19; his condition is improving but no return date has been set. GAMCO Investors implemented the succession plan on March 22 and named Christopher J. Marangi president of GAMCO; Douglas R. Jamieson and Marangi are managing day-to-day operations. Portfolio management of Gabelli Multimedia Trust is being led on an interim basis by Kevin V. Dreyer and Christopher J. Marangi as co-chief investment officers.
