Giyani Metals posts positive feasibility study for K.Hill Botswana manganese project
Giyani Metals released a definitive feasibility study for its 100%‑owned K.Hill project showing a post‑tax NPV of $481.5 million and an IRR of 20.3%, with projected post‑tax cumulative free cash flow of about $1.6 billion over a 25‑year mine life. The open‑pit and hydrometallurgical operation is designed to produce high‑purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) and high‑purity manganese oxide (HPMO) with steady‑state metallurgical recovery of 87% and reserves of 5.35 million tonnes grading 12.0% manganese. Initial capital expenditure is estimated at ~$535 million (total life‑of‑project $679 million) and the study forecasts revenues of roughly $5.26 billion; first ore feed is targeted for March 2029 with full production by mid‑2029.
