Growth worries weigh on Haleon shares after half‑year results
Haleon reported organic revenue growth of 2.6% for H1 2026 and revenue of around £5.55 billion, narrowly missing consensus estimates. Growth therefore remained well below the mid‑term target range of 4–6%, although organic growth accelerated to 3.1% in Q2. The company confirmed its outlook for 2026 and announced an interim dividend of 2.4p, but investors reacted negatively to the discrepancy with the targets and to cautious analyst comments. The stock fell about 2.2% to 371.5p and is trading well below its 52‑week high. » More on de.investing.com
FDA warns Haleon’s Alli can cause acute kidney injury; label updated
The FDA approved new label warnings for Haleon’s over-the-counter weight-loss pill Alli, citing rare risks including acute kidney injury, kidney stones and oxalate nephropathy that can be fatal if untreated. The updated drug facts instruct people with prior kidney disease or stones to consult a doctor and tell all users to stop taking Alli if they develop back or groin pain, blood in urine, painful urination or leg swelling. Alli’s label already advised caution for transplant recipients and people with gallbladder, pancreatic or interacting medication issues; orlistat (Alli/Xenical) has been used by an estimated 40 million people since 1999/2007 approvals. » More on forbes.com
