Hansen improves margins and cash flow, shares plunge on weak 2027 outlook

For fiscal 2026 Hansen reported adjusted EBITDA of AUD 120m (+7%), an EBITDA margin of 31% and operating cash flow of AUD 110m, supported by AUD 20m in cost cuts and growing recurring revenue. The stock fell about 18% after the outlook, as management called 2027 a transition year: licence revenue is expected to decline while sales, marketing and AI spending will rise by a total of AUD 14–18m, likely pushing the margin back to just over 26%. Hansen expects recurring revenue to grow 6–8% in 2027, cash conversion of 70–80% and aims to reach a positive net cash position within roughly 60 days; over the longer term the balance sheet should improve through AI investments and sales expansion. » More on de.investing.com
