Hingham Institution for Savings approves $20 million share buyback program
The board of directors of Hingham Institution for Savings has approved a share buyback program of up to $20 million, subject to receipt of all regulatory approvals. The volume represents about 3% of the market capitalization and permits open-market purchases, privately negotiated transactions and block trades. The program is price-sensitive, non-binding and runs until December 6, 2026; the board intends to make annual decisions on the size and terms.
