Hirose Electric announces share buyback program worth ¥15 billion

Hirose Electric plans to repurchase up to 1 million shares (3.03% of outstanding shares) or shares worth up to ¥15 billion. The buyback period is planned from 5 January to 31 July 2026. The move follows earlier buybacks of ¥15 billion (Aug.–Nov. 2025) and the previously announced intention to repurchase shares worth ¥60 billion between 2026 and 2029. The company was formerly known as Hirose Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Hirose Electric Co.,Ltd. in August 1963. Hirose Electric Co.,Ltd. was founded in 1937 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
