Hulamin reaches turning point in H1 2026 – share rises after operational recovery
Hulamin calls the first half of 2026 a turning point: core production rose in June to an annualized 527 tonnes/day, approaching the 550 tonnes target. Revenue increased 2% to ZAR 7.2bn, but normalized operating profit fell 53% to ZAR 102m, while EBITDA more than doubled to ZAR 470m thanks to higher aluminium prices. The share climbed about 9% to ZAR 207; management expects further productivity gains, cost reductions and a reduction in net debt in H2, but sees risks from a stronger rand, higher working capital and increased energy costs. » More on de.investing.com
