ImmuPharma selects Kymos Group as CRO for Kapiglucagon bioanalysis

ImmuPharma has chosen Kymos Deutschland/Prolytic through a competitive tender as the bioanalytical contract research partner for the Kapiglucagon program. Kymos will develop and validate regulated bioanalytical methods and analyse samples from nonclinical and phase 1 studies. Kapiglucagon is a glucagon prodrug intended for type 1 diabetes applications, aiming to improve solubility and formulation stability for dual-hormone artificial pancreas systems. The program is supported by recently awarded funding; Thermo Fisher is the CMC partner and Bachem is supplying the API, and a US regulatory pathway via 505(b)(2) is being explored. » More on de.investing.com
ImmuPharma starts IND preparations for diabetes prodrug Kapiglucagon

ImmuPharma has initiated IND‑preparatory activities for Kapiglucagon, a glucagon prodrug for treating type 1 diabetes, and has engaged tranScrip Limited to prepare a regulatory strategy and a pre‑IND briefing for the FDA. The company is considering a 505(b)(2) approval pathway in the US, which could allow use of existing data on native glucagon. Kapiglucagon aims to address issues with native glucagon by providing improved solubility and formulation stability and could also be used in artificial pancreas systems. ImmuPharma launches retail offer to raise £1.5 million

ImmuPharma is offering private investors, via Winterflood Retail Access, 25 million new ordinary shares at 6.0 pence each to raise up to £1.5 million. A separate placing of around £7.5 million is running in parallel at the same price.
