Infleqtion opens quantum innovation center in Louisville as global headquarters
Infleqtion has opened the Colorado Quantum Innovation Center in Louisville, Colorado, which will serve as the company’s global headquarters and consolidate its quantum computing and quantum sensing activities. The company’s neutral‑atom–based systems are already used by the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA and the British Royal Navy. Infleqtion boosts Q2 revenue by 116% and raises 2026 outlook
Infleqtion reported Q2 revenue of $12.6 million (up 116% year-over-year) and raised its 2026 revenue forecast to about $43 million. The company recorded a GAAP operating loss of $30.6 million (vs. $10.1 million in Q2 2025), finished the quarter debt-free with $582 million in cash and cash equivalents, and cited a temporary working-capital benefit of $27.4 million expected to be paid out in Q3. The U.S. Commerce Department issued a letter of intent for up to $100 million to accelerate commercialization (subject to final agreements); there were also contracts and grant awards for quantum projects and a contract for a neutral-atom quantum computer in 2027. U.S. Department of Energy awards Infleqtion three quantum research projects
Infleqtion receives three awards from the U.S. Department of Energy under the Genesis Mission for projects with Argonne, Brookhaven, Lawrence Livermore and the University of Colorado Boulder. The initiatives include AI-optimized design of quantum circuits for nuclear applications, deployable atomic quantum sensing with agent-based AI, and simulation of nonlinear plasma dynamics for fusion research.
