  • Intercos falls after placement: L Catterton sells around 6 million shares

The Intercos share plunged 8.1% to €12.68 after private equity investor L Catterton, via its vehicle CP7, placed about 6 million shares (≈6.2% of capital) in an accelerated bookbuilding for roughly €81 million. The transaction, coordinated by UBS, Jefferies and BNP Paribas, increased the free float and put heavy pressure on the share. CP7’s stake fell from 13.33% to just above 7%, while founder Dario Gianandrea Ferrari remains anchor shareholder with about 48.64%. Macroeconomic factors such as higher inflation in the eurozone and interest rate expectations weighed on the market’s absorption capacity. » More on de.investing.com

For the first nine months, revenue rose to €785.6m (+1.4%) and adjusted EBITDA to €115.9m (+12.3%). The company sticks to its full-year guidance of around €155m adjusted EBITDA, has launched a share buyback program, expanded capacity in Asia and is shifting focus to higher‑margin make-up products (63% of sales). With net debt of €133.7m (net/net EBITDA 0.86x) Intercos sees itself well positioned, but in a challenging market it prioritizes profitability over revenue growth. » More on de.investing.com
