International Bancshares pays cash dividend of $0.73 per share
The board of directors of International Bancshares has declared a cash dividend of $0.73 per common share, payable on August 28 to shareholders of record on August 14. CEO Dennis E. Nixon said the payout reflects the institution’s financial strength, capital position, liquidity and its positive earnings track record over 60 years. International Bancshares allows derivative lawsuits even with under 3% ownership
The board of directors of International Bancshares amended the bylaws and removed the previous 3% minimum ownership requirement to initiate or maintain derivative lawsuits. It also deleted the clause designating Texas as the exclusive venue and removed the requirement to waive a jury trial in internal corporate disputes.
