Intrum Justitia reports mixed Q1-2026 results, stock plunges in premarket trading
Intrum Justitia reported a 12% revenue decline to SEK 4.12 billion in Q1 2026 and a net loss driven by accounting one-offs. Management confirmed the strategic implementation plan through 2030 and plans cost reductions, AI initiatives and a rights issue to strengthen the balance sheet. » More on de.investing.com
Moody’s affirms Intrum rating at Caa2 and raises outlook to positive
Moody’s has affirmed Intrum’s corporate rating at Caa2 and upgraded the outlook from stable to positive, supported by a lower leverage following buybacks of 2.0-lien notes as well as stable cash EBITDA and solid cash flows in 2025. Moody’s also affirmed ratings for secured liabilities (Caa3 for 2.0-lien and B3 for 1.5-lien new money). Intrum plans further deleveraging in H1 2026 through the sale of a debt portfolio and repayment of maturing 2.0-lien notes, subject to approval. Constraining factors remain significant negative cash flows from financing activities, high indebtedness and a material equity deficit; sustained improvements in earnings, cash flow and net debt would allow for upward movement. » More on de.investing.com
Goodwill write-down hits Intrum: stock falls after Q4 results

Despite a stabilized adjusted EBIT and annual cost savings of SEK 1.6 billion, the shares plunged 11.24% after the figures and closed at SEK 52.3. Servicing EBIT rose 31% year-on-year and leverage improved from 5.3 to 4.8. Intrum continues to focus on digital transformation and AI, and aims for significant debt reduction and cost targets by 2030. » More on de.investing.com
