Investec buys back preference shares for over 47 million rand

Investec repurchased 474,493 non-redeemable preference shares for a total of 47,318,733.71 rand (average price 99.72 rand) between 22 January and most recently. The buybacks represent 1.91% of the preference share capital issued on 7 August 2025; a total of 1,490,810 preference shares (6.00%) have been repurchased under the mandate to date. After the buyback, 23,345,033 preference shares remain in issue; the company may acquire a further 3,476,358 shares (14%) under the mandate. Investec buys 450,000 own shares to fulfil employee share incentive plan

Investec acquired a total of 450,000 of its own shares on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange over three trading days to meet obligations under the Investec Limited Share Incentive Plan 2021. On 12 March it bought 150,000 shares at 129.7240 ZAR (19,458,600 ZAR), on 13 March 150,000 at 127.1425 ZAR (19,071,375 ZAR) and finally 150,000 at 128.3758 ZAR (19,256,370 ZAR). Investec Limited starts buyback of up to 20% of preference shares

Investec Limited will begin on 11 December 2025 to repurchase up to 20% of its perpetual, non-cumulative and non‑participating preference shares. The programme was approved by the board on 19 November and is being carried out under the shareholders’ authority dated 7 August, with notification to the Prudential Authority. Repurchases will be executed via the JSE order book by an appointed intermediary without any arrangements; redeemed shares will be converted into authorised but unissued capital.
