Japan Post Insurance reports profit surge and plans record dividend of 46 billion yen

Japan Post Insurance posted a strong rise in adjusted profit in Q4 2025 and announced a record dividend of 46 billion yen (payout ratio around 55%). Net interest income rose 55% in 2025 to 142.5 billion yen, and sales of new policies grew 27% to 795,000 policies. For 2026 the company forecasts a dividend per share of 124 yen and net interest income of about 200 billion yen.
