Jet2 reports 7.1% rise in summer bookings as demand recovers after Middle East ceasefire
Jet2 said summer bookings are up 7.1% year-on-year and average load factor has risen 1.2 percentage points, with strongest rebounds in Turkey, Cyprus, the eastern Greek islands, Bulgaria and parts of north Africa. CEO Steve Heapy attributed the recovery to customers delaying purchases during the Middle East conflict and now returning to book holidays. Jet2 urges national database to ban disruptive passengers after diversion
Jet2 called for a UK-wide database to prevent disruptive passengers from flying with other carriers after an Antalya–London flight diverted to Sofia when two passengers became unruly. The airline has banned the pair for life, said it will seek to recover costs, and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy. Jet2 plc launches share buyback programme of up to £100 million
Jet2 plc has announced a share buyback programme of up to £100 million for ordinary shares (nominal value 1.25p). Jefferies International Limited will act as a "riskless" principal to execute purchases with prescribed parameters from 1 December 2025 until no later than 30 June 2026. The buyback is being carried out under the authority granted at the annual general meeting on 4 September 2025; of the 20,796,104 shares authorised, 14,529,099 remain available.
